ITV-Carlton came over to the islands from 15 to 16 January, to film an article for their programme based on cars, “Pulling Power”. Gail Porter caused a stir as one of the first celebraties to have visited the islands this centuary. The crew went around islands filming in Don Williams’ antique vehicle often parked behind the Town Hall. The programme was shown on 30 January at 10:50 pm.
