Plans to renovate the Strand’s appauling loo situated next to Holgates have been delayed. Previous plans to build a granite replacement to reflect the ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty? were stopped due to insufficient funding.
Plans for a non-granite faced replacement have been submitted, with a result expected back in August.
Update: The new facilities were built in March 2002.
