There is an unconfirmed report of a fire in a new restaurant on St. Marys. At the start of the week, the fire brigade were called out to deal with a fire concerning gas cylinders.
The Scilly Fish restaurant, previously the ‘Corner House’ was only opened this year. The restaurant is located in Hugh town opposite the paper shop; it is unclear whether anyone was hurt in the incident.
