Saturday Daytrips Restored?

Local businesses are asking the Steamship Company to restore daytrips on the weekends.

A meeting will be held by the Steamship Co., to see whether the popular Saturday daytrip should be restored.

It would seem the most popular time to take a daytrip to the Islands - on a peaceful Saturday, on the weekend off, but the Steamship stopped doing the Saturday sailings this year in early season. This comes a year after the year-2000 lull in Island trade.
