In a new series of ‘Bill Oddie Goes Wild? the Natural History presenter visited the Islands to explore the abundant wildlife.

The BBC advertises: “Bill visits Britain’s only sub-tropical paradise, looking for rare birds, exotic plants and amazing marine life found when the tide goes down.”

Exeter University professor, Tegwin, showed Oddie the wildlife found on the sea bed during a spring tide. Tegwin is known to several Islanders from his annual trips to the Islands with many students in tow.

The programme was broadcast last Friday (4 Jan). It was filmed in September.
