Pupils of the Isles of Scilly School (formerly the Secondary School and Primary Schools) in years 6 and 7 have been taken to the mainland to entertain the Queen.
Traditional May Day celebrations on the Islands coincide with the Queen’s jubilee visit this year, so students were taken to Trelissick Gardens near Feock in Cornwall where the Queen starts her nationwide tour. They will perform the traditional May Pole Dances.
