A further drugs raid on the islands has led to five people being arrested. Passengers arriving by both air and sea were searched by Police officers from Camborne and St Mary’s.
A 17-year-old man from St Mary’s was arrested on suspicion of burglary and released on police bail until November 13 while another 29-year-old local man was cautioned for possession of class A drugs. A 20-year-old woman from Penzance was also for having a class B drug.
A 29-year-old man from Newquay has been bailed to reappear at Camborne police station in November in connection with possessing a class A drug and a 46 year old man from Penzance will appear before magistrates at Truro today charged with possessing a class B drug.
Ecstasy, cocaine and cannabis were all seized.
