Is Scilly Set for Snow?

Will Scilly have a white Christmas this year? Whether we will or not is a difficult task because it all depends on what a White Christmas.

Could it be a flurry of snow or a scene like you’ll be getting on your Christmas cards this year.

Bookies William Hill aren’t taking bets on whether the islands will be having a snow this year but if they were they would probably be pretty high.

The last proper White Christmas that England saw was in 1981 but unfortunately it didn’t get as far as Scilly. Apparently there is a full snowy day every 25 Christmas’.
