MP say Locals Might Refuse to Pay Tax

Local MP Andrew George has announced that people are so fed up with council tax increases that they may just ?refuse to pay.?

Mr George’s announcement came after last week’s report from the Audit Commission which blamed Local Council’s for not trying hard enough to find funds from elsewhere.

The Isles of Scilly had a 25% Council Tax increase last year. It was one of the largest in the country.
