A new initiative has been introduced to reduce crime in the Isles of Scilly and Cornwall.
It is hoped that the scheme will help break the chain of juveniles breaking the law following successful trial run in St Austell.
The programme is called the White Gold Project and was tested in the Cornish town earlier this year.
It uses intelligence from the police, social services, schools, the youth service, local communities and traders. This identifies youths between 10-19 that have a track record of criminal behaviour or who are having problems.
Four extra staff will be made available to the islands and the rest of Cornwall.
