Already nearly 4000 2004 brochures have been sent out from Scilly this year. this information was announced by the Tourist Information Centre on the islands on Thursday.
This comes after Channel 4 revealed yesterday that the Westcountry is British people’s top holiday destination in the world. It beat the Greek Islands and Spain.
Last year 230,000 people visited the Isles of Scilly which has a population of just 2,000 people.
But there may be quite a way to go to beat last years total when 45,000 made their way to homes around the world.
