Presenter says Scilly is world class

BBC Television presenter Bill Oddie has described the islands as “the most beautiful place in the world”.

On Sunday the environmental journalist was seen singing the islands praises on BBC One’s Holiday (Ten Best) programme.

Oddie stayed on Bryher but the programme saw him visiting the Abbey Gardens on Tresco and looking for seals.

The presenter is a regular visitor to the islands.
