The islands tranquility and peacefulness has led to many an author to write on the islands and now there is another story been published.
Mr David Mudd a former MP, newspaper and TV journalist and author of books on Cornish history and crime has written a series of short stories and one of them is about Scilly.
David became the youngest newspaper editor in Britain at 18. He has written a series of short stories called Better With a Pinch of Salt. The 20 tales are colourful and contrasting snippets of Cornish and Scillonian life.
The Scillonian tale is about 100-year-old Tobias from the islands who makes his way to mainland Britain make his TV debut.
