Scilly-poorer area of EU

Scilly is one of the poorest areas in the EU.

New figures have revealed that Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly has 59.5 per cent of the average income. This is less than seven per cent more than the more economically deprived area Dytiki Ellada in Greece.

But overall the UK fairs well with inner London being revealed as the richest part in the EU.
