Building works on Bryher completed

Extensive building work that has gone on, on Bryher has now been completed.

Two new houses have been built on the northern side of the island and a new holiday chalet at Hillside Farm is ready for the summer season.

There was some criticism by islanders over the winter because of the muddy conditions left by heavy machinery. Parts of the island became virtually cut off. The roads on Bryher and mainly unconcreted.
