Coastguards on all the islands were called out on a search on Thursday afternoon after a fishing vessel failed to return to port.
Teams from Tresco, Bryher, St Mary’s, St Martins and St Agnes carried out searchs from the coast for an hour.
The vessel was spotted safe and sound later by another fishing boat.
