New church window for Bryher

Bryher has had it’s second new church window put in.

Islanders helped to raise the money for the new church windows with events like the Bryher Fete. Regular visitors to the island also helped in the effort.

The new window was made by Oriel Hicks on St Mary’s. It depicts Creation. Words inscribed on the stained glass window say “And God said let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life.”

The residents of Bryher are continuing their fundraising campaign to have two more new windows.
