A St Mary’s woman has returned to the islands with yet another world record under her belt.
Marian Gibson, who is originally from Bryher, took part in the British Powerlifting Championships in Birmingham last week.
She won her weight class, took British records in squats, bench press and her total and earned a world record in her bench press and total score.
Marian took part in the World Powerlifting Championships last month.
