A TV Company are looking for people to take part in a new television show. Plymouth based TwoFour are making a programme called Life Begins which shows viewers what life is like in Britain when you turn your back on the 9- 5 grind of city life and have a complete lifestyle overhaul.
Researcher Leonie McFarlane told Scilly News: “Our ideal candidates would be over 40 and living a lifestyle that is significantly different to the one they wish to pursue and their eventual move would incorporate some kind of self-employment, whether it be working from home or starting a small business.”
“We are hoping to feature as many different stories as possible within the series, ranging from people setting up boat building services, to those running delis in picturesque villages, to those who are starting their own landscape gardening and design businesses or B & B’s. The list is endless.”
