October has come around again and for Scilly, that can only mean one thing - birds.

Bird log kicked off on Monday night at the Scillonian Club, an annual event which has existed on the Islands for over thirty years.

The log starts at 9pm and lasts up to an hour every night for most of October. It features slideshows and sales of photographs and magazines, as well as the log of recent sightings.

The number of bird watchers is expected to drop this year.

See if you can identify these birds seen on Scilly over the last few years (level - fairly easy).
