The Met Office has given a warning of severe weather for the Isles of Scilly over the weekend.
Wind speeds are set to reach severe gale force 9 increasing to storm force 10.
The sea is expected to be ‘very rough or high, becoming very high’, with waves up to 10 metres.
The public are advised to keep away from cliff edges and exposed quays.
